I used to be excellent at telling myself, "I don't have time". Like so many others, I became a professional excuse maker who, over my adult years, perfected my craft. I would say things like... "I'm too busy, I'm too tired, my plate is too full, I don't have any energy for that".
The reality is, I always had the time. The reality is that we spend our time on the things and the people that are a priority to us. Simple as that. We do what we want.
If you truly feel that you don't have time, ask yourself these questions... How much time to I spend on my phone scrolling social media or playing games or googling witty memes? Think to yourself, is that useful time spent? Is that time spent pushing me to level up in life?
Or could you take some of, if not all of that time and do this... Pick up a book to gain more knowledge and in turn gain more power. Go for a walk in the woods and experience the beauty of nature. Have a meaningful conversation with a friend to keep a connection alive.
You see, it has nothing to do with how much time we all have. It does, however, have everything to do with how we choose to spend it.
